Luxury collectors estate in vibrant Canggu
The concept of this property is to reveal its beauty in stages. The wooden gates open on a cobblestone courtyard. The staff residence is a Sumatra traditional two storey wooden house.
The impressive wooden. pavilion that sits on the parking area is a 19th century Chinese wooden former residence that has been moved on the site, remounted, refurbished and extended to include a massage room completed with an antique Chinese alcove bed, an office where the owner spends a few hours a day world trading collectors wines and an internal courtyard with 3 copper herons standing in a pond.
A cobblestone gallery leads to the Chinese themed reception building. Owners express their passion for Chinese and tribal antiques. They brought back a small container of antiques, purchased in most cases from private collectors or auction houses.
Other pieces were sourced from reputed expert antique traders like these four antique Chinese armchairs in the lobby
or the 19th century Meiji Japanese 6 panels painting that decorates the lounge.

A lounge, a dining space, and a bar open on the gardens and a green (indian slate stone) stone swimming pool.
A wine cellar and a professional kitchen complement the dining room. The petrified wood table sits comfortably up to 12 people. The floors are covered with natural stone, the walls with meticulously carved wooden panels.
A massive piece of wood serves as a display for several rare ethnic art pieces. Two rolls made of tens of tho sands red minuscule feathers (Tevau) are at the centre stage. This is a traditional dowry in the Solomon Islands (Santa Cruz islands).
